„hey guys, as we’re sure everyone is already aware, the COVID situation in europe is still at large. as we are only a few weeks away from the european leg of our headline UK/EU tour, it absolutely kills us to unfortunately have to cancel the EUROPE portion of the dates, UK will continue to go ahead as planned. we are so sorry this keeps happening but please rest assured we WILL be back – europe is one of our favourite places to go and play, but at this point in time we feel it isn’t right for us to steam ahead with the current dates. refunds will be available at the point of purchase. and again, UK DATES ARE STILL GOING AHEAD, the cancellation is EUROPE ONLY.“
Stand Atlantic ist eine 2014 gegründete Pop-Punk Band aus Sydney, Australien. 2018 veröffentlichte die Band, bestehend aus der Sängerin und Gitarristin Bonnie Fraser, dem Bassisten David Potter und dem Schlagzeuger Jonno Panichi, ihr Debütalbum via Hopeless Records. Bereits im Jahr zuvor sorgte das Quartett mit ihrer Debüt-EP „Sidewinder“ für ordentlich Furore. Wer auf rhythmische Gitarren-Riffs und catchy Melodien steht, findet in Stand Atlantic seine neue Lieblingsband.
Letztes Jahr waren Stand Atlantic bereits live in Deutschland unterwegs und überzeugten uns von ihren Live-Qualitäten. Anfang Februar veröffentlichte die Band dann mit „Shh!“ die erste Single ihres zweiten Albums, welches noch vor der kommenden Deutschlandtour erscheinen soll. Im September geht es für Stand Atlantic dann wieder auf Tour, inkl. vier Stopps in Deutschland!
